Different games use CPU cores, memory, and storage differently. Test the exact server build and mod set you plan to run.
Measure the player experience
Network latency, packet loss, and server simulation performance are separate measurements. Check them during realistic sessions.
Keep worlds recoverable
Schedule consistent saves and independent backups, and test how to restore a world without losing more progress than expected.
Size around simulation, not just slots
A server’s capacity depends on the game, map, plugins, mods, and what players do. A quiet session can hide the load from a busy area or automated systems. Run a representative test, watch the game’s server timing, and leave room for scheduled saves and maintenance. More cores do not automatically improve a heavily single-threaded workload.
Choose location with actual players in mind
Ask about available regions and test connectivity from the networks your players use. A short distance on a map does not guarantee the best route. Confirm the traffic allowance and the scope of any network protection for your game’s protocols; no service can responsibly promise zero lag in every situation.
Treat updates as planned releases
Keep the game build, mods, and configuration documented. Test updates on a separate instance where possible, announce maintenance, and retain a known-good configuration. Confirm whether your team or Mixal handles OS maintenance, game installation, monitoring, and recovery.

How many players can one server support?
There is no reliable universal count. Capacity depends on the game, configuration, player activity, mods, and hardware; test your actual workload.
Will a dedicated server remove all lag?
No. Client performance, internet paths, game code, and server load can each cause delays. Dedicated hardware addresses only part of that system.
Are game licences and control panels included?
Do not assume so. Confirm software permissions, panel licences, installation help, and management scope in the selected arrangement.
